While Victoria’s recent photos sparked varied reactions from fans, the fashion icon has always been candid about her approach to aging and beauty.
In an exclusive interview in May 2023, Victoria, who turned 50 in April, shared her reflections on aging. “I am comfortable with who I am, I accept how I look, I make the best of what I have. I feel, professionally and personally, really accomplished at 49,” she stated confidently.
The mom of four emphasized that embracing her age has brought her a sense of fulfillment that she never experienced in her younger years. She added:
“I like how it feels being older. I wouldn’t want to be 25 again. I was the kind of young woman who would look in the mirror and see what needed to be improved upon, as opposed to what actually looked OK.”
The “Every Part of Me” singer mentioned that her focus is not on defying time but on celebrating it. She admitted, “I’ve always been quite tough on myself, but because of that I’ve also always strived to be the best version of myself.”
Victoria further disclosed that she does not use Botox, or lip fillers, or undergo any invasive cosmetic surgeries, describing such options as “scary.” Instead, she opts for minimal treatments such as laser and skin tightening, clarifying that “it’s about little things” and not about turning back time.
“I’m not trying to turn back the clock. I’m 49 and don’t have a hang-up about it,” Victoria explained. She expressed pride in how she has maintained her fitness over the years, revealing, “I have more muscle tone at 49 than I did at 25.”
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time the mother of four has faced public scrutiny over her appearance. On April 1, the “Wannabe” singer shared a seemingly joyful moment with her daughter-in-law, Nicola Peltz-Beckham, but fans quickly picked up on something beneath the surface of the happy video.
